On 11th May, 1974 an Assembly of the International Rainbow Girls was established at the Hawthorn Masonic Centre in Lower Mitcham. On 4th May, 2024 a celebration was held at the Festival Function Centre where 80 guests joined the girls to celebrate at a meeting themed “The Yellow Brick Road” and later for dinner complete with DJ and Photo Booth. Foundation members were present along with members from N.S.W., A.C.T., and Queensland.
